About the IA Summit<\/span><\/h2>\n

The IA Summit<\/span><\/a> is one of the most popular UX conferences, held each year since 2000. The 2016 edition was in Atlanta from May 4-8 and the keynote speakers were Cory Doctorow, L\u00e9onie Watson, Lisa Welchman, and Jesse James Garrett.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poster Night<\/span><\/h2>\n

Poster night at the IA Summit is a social event where a variety of topics are presented including case studies and methods. Each presenter creates a poster or activity in advance, and leads a discussion with attendees at poster night. <\/span><\/p>\n

At Poster Night 2016, exploreUX founder Michelle Chin (<\/span>@soysaucechin<\/span><\/a>) and <\/span>Triangle UXPA<\/span><\/a> Events Director Andrew Wirtanen (<\/span>@awirtanen<\/span><\/a>) presented a poster on mentorship.<\/span><\/p>\n
